William Rock, with his father and many volunteers created the labyrinth at the Kearns Spirituality Center, located at La Roche College north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
At right is the center stone of the labyrinth. The labyrinth is over 60 feet across and has been walked by thousands of people.
William Rock was commissioned to carve the center stone. At right is a detail of a Tibetan Monk in meditation located on the side of the center stone.
The center stone is piece of petrified tree that is 300 million years old. It took Rock six months to carve with a pneumatic drill and a water powered diamond bit carver.
